Malala and Satyarthi Awarded The Nobel Peace

In the age of 17, Malala Yousafzai, Pakistan activists teen becomes the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in history. The Nobel Peace awarded to Malala because she seek Pakistani women won the right to a decent education. This is not the first time, Malala awarded. In 2013 ago, Time magazine called her a figure of the most influential and prominent human rights award winning, Sakharov.
Malala name attracted the world attention in 2009 when she wrote a diary for BBC Urdu broadcasts. At that time, she tells of life under the Taliban in northwest Pakistan. But the world began to recognize Malala when she was shot by the Taliban right in the school bus in the Swat Valley in 2012, when she was 15 years old.
Malala is now recovering from her wounds and still remain a public concern. He still continued her struggle with writing books and speaking before the UN General Assembly. Although this time she had recovered, Malala can not return to Pakistan. She settled in England, and set up Malala Fund and to support the education advocacy group that focuses on Pakistan, Nigeria, Jordan, Syria and Kenya.
About this Nobel, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif congratulated the achievements Malala. Sharif also refers to it as the pride of Pakistan. Sharif said that the men and women in the world should be able to take the example of the commitment and struggle of Malala.

Malala not alone won the Nobel Peace Prize in this 2014. Indian children activist Kailash Satyarthi, (60 years old) also won the award with Malala. Just like Malala, Satyarthi considered instrumental in fighting violence against children and young people.
Kailash Satyarthi since the 1990s, actively opposes the Indian industry employing child labor. He is considered to maintain the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi, in leading a peaceful demonstration, which focuses on the exploitation of children for financial gain.

In an announcement that took place on Friday (10/10) morning in Oslo, the Nobel Committee said that the Award was given to Malala and Kailash Satyarthi, for their struggle against the oppression of children and young people, and the right of every child to education.
