Garuda Indonesia Awarded "Best in Region: Asia and Australasia"

Garuda Indonesia was chosen as the winner of the "2014 Passenger Choice Awards" in the category "Best in Region: Asia and Australasia". This is the second award obtained by Garuda Indonesia from the "Airline Passenger Experience Association" (APEX) - based in New York, United States. In September 2013 the company also has been named the "Best in Region: Asia and Australasia" in the event "Passenger Choice Awards 2013".

Garuda Indonesia's success is the result of a program transformation and continuous improvement of the services performed. In these awards, Garuda Indonesia managed to outperform four other airlines announced as a finalist Best in Region: Asia and Australasia, namely: Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Korean Air, and EVA.

This award as the winner of the category based on the results of a comprehensive survey through www.passengerchoiceawards.com site. The survey is based on products, services, and innovations throughout the airline as well as the level of satisfaction "flight experience" the service users in the world.

Besides to winning the category of Best in Region: Asia and Australasia, in the same awards, Garuda Indonesia was also selected as the "Top 5 Airlines with Best Overall Passenger Experience" and well as "Top 5 Airlines with Best Inflight Video", together with the Emirates, Virgin America, Norwegian, and Ethiopian Airlines.

Garuda Indonesia also named in the "Top 5 Airlines with the Best Cabin Ambiance" together with Virgin America, Austrian Airlines, El Al Israel Airlines, and Air Transat, as well as the "Top 5 Airlines with the Best Food and Beverage, together with the Emirates, Turkish Airlines, El Al Israel Airlines, and Ethiopian 

Airlines.

In the event the air show "Farnborough International Airshow" in the UK on July 15, 2014 last, Garuda Indonesia also won international awards and was named the airline with the "The World's Best Cabin Crew in 2014" from Skytrax - the independent aviation agency based in London. It is a proud achievement for Garuda Indonesia managed to beat the other nominees, namely Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways.
